What does Jehovah Tsidkenu mean?
a. The Lord our righteousness. Jeremiah 23:6
b. Righteousness entails: (i.) New order of dominion. (ii.) Prosperity (iii.)Justice (iv) Safety (v) -Salvation. Jeremiah 23:2-5
c. Righteousness condemns unfaithfulness, disobedience and neglect to the duty of the leadership of Israel
d.Christ will judge (execute justice) in righteousness when He returns. Revelations 45:7; Isaiah 11:5, 59:16; Hebrews 7:25
Class Activity 1- Explain how righteousness can exalt a nation and how sin can bring reproach to the citizen of such a nation.
ii.LESSON OUTLINE 2- LIKE JESUS IN RIGHTEOUSNESS
i. Christ is our righteousness.
ii. Through our faith in Him, we have become righteous.
iii. His righteous in us is manifested through the following:
a. His words in our heart and mouth.
b. Ever increasing faith which overcomes doubt.
c. Our victory over pitfalls and stumbling blocks on our pilgrimage.
d. Exemplary Christian living.
e. Life of holiness (cleanliness).
iv. Living righteously (not just doing good to others but a life of covenant to please God always without rebelling at His word) will attract more rain of His glory to fall on us.

SUMMARY - If we allow Christ wholeheartedly, then He will become our righteousness and we will be considered as righteous before God.
CONCLUSION - It is our prayer today that you become born again and become the righteousness of God in Christ- 2 Cor. 5:21 - to enable you enjoy other benefits too. Pray through today.
